HIGHLIGHTED EVENTS

PATHOLOGY DAY - JUNE 1, 2023 This year's Pathology Day will feature lectures and keynotes on artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on machine learning, deep learning and related approaches topic. Mark your calendars and get ready to connect with researchers in your community.

Pathology day planning is fully underway and we need some volunteers again this year!

Pathday will happen on Thursday June 1st 2023 and will take place at Diamond Healthcare Centre (DHCC) and ICORD.

We would like volunteers for both locations so if you would like to help, please let me know which one.

  • At DHCC the day begins at 7:30am and runs until around 4pm (you can volunteer for part of the day)
  • We will need volunteers at ICORD from around 9 or 10am to put up posters and then again from 4pm for the networking/awards ceremony.

The main volunteer tasks can include assisting in the lead up/the day before in setting up the event and on PathDay we will need help with the registration desk, support for the speakers and students in both lecture halls, timing presentations and a microphone runner. Plus extras for any general queries.

The need for help during PathDay is minimal and does give you time to attend the presentations and meet with the students, trainees, faculty and staff.  If you are interested in volunteering for PathDay, please let us know.  Thanks for considering this request!

Remember all volunteers get food and drink during the day and a free ticket to the evening event.
