Dr. Côté is a Professor and Graduate Advisor & Program Director in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is also an Associate Member of the Women’s Health Research Institute, an Investigator of the UBC Centre for Blood Research, and serves on the CANFAR Scientific Advisory Committee.

Dr. Dave Farnell, Anatomical Pathologist at Vancouver General Hospital, has accepted the position of Associate Program Director (APD), Anatomical Pathology. Dr. Farnell is currently the Site Supervisor at VGH and will help support the AP program through various administrative and educational roles as the APD.

  • Dr. Andrew Shih received funding from the Canadian Blood Services Blood Efficiency Accelerator Program supporting his project on "ABO genotyping for bone marrow transplant patients"

     

  • Congratulations our Pathology Cancer Researchers on receiving the 2022 Terry Fox New Frontiers Program Project Grants. The investigators from our department on this project include: Dr. David Huntsman, Dr. Ali Bashashati, Dr. Naveena Singh, Dr. Yemin Wang, Dr. Blake Gilks, and Dr. Andrew Roth. This project ultimately aims to improve the uptake and impact of the PrOmisE molecular classification system for endometrial cancer patients and to improve the precision of their treatment.
