CONGRATULATIONS TO DR. WELLINGTON ON $2.5M DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE GRANT

Great news! Dr. Wellington has been awarded a $2.5M grant from the USA Department of Defense for research on brain injury diagnosis. This project, starting in 2024, focuses on using blood biomarkers to better understand brain injuries from intimate partner violence. We're excited about this important work and proud of Dr. Wellington's achievement.

πŸ“’ Join us for a hands-on workshop, led by Dr. Cheryl Wellington, Professor and Vice Chair Research of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of British Columbia. 🏫

This dynamic session will provide a deep dive into the art of crafting competitive grant proposals. βœοΈπŸ’‘ The program will culminate in the awarding of two collaborative seed grants, each valued at $15,000. πŸŒ±πŸ’°

Workshop sessions will be a blend of in-person and virtual formats, spanning two hours each, and will cover the essential elements of constructing a compelling research grant proposal. πŸ–₯οΈπŸ“Š
