USCAP 2023

 

This year's USCAP conference was held from March 11 to March 16, 2023. Some of our departmental members attended / presented at this conference. On March 16th, Dr. Lien Hoang and Dr. David F. Schaeffer presented Short Course 58: DNA Repair Markers in GYN and GI Pathology: Daily Struggles and Spencer Martin, an AP PGY3, also presented at the conference on Sunday via Zoom. Additionally, Karina Chornenka, a NeuroPath PGY3, attended the conference in person. If we missed any presentations of our department members please let us know. We are delighted to announce that Bruce Verchere's diabetes cluster at BC Diabetes Research Network has been awarded funding for the 2023-2024 cycle through the UBC VPRI Research Excellence Clusters initiative. This initiative supports innovative research clusters that aim to tackle complex research questions and advance UBC's research goals.
