Teaching Opportunity: PATH 535/635

PATH 535/635 is a core course in the PALM Graduate Program. Students learn skills in all aspects of scientific communication (oral presentation, poster preparation, abstract, research summary, lay scientific communication, etc.).

We are seeking faculty (academic or clinical) interested in co-coordinating this course starting in September 2022. No discipline-specific expertise is required. Typically involves 1 or 2h of classic lecturing, ~25h of attending graduate student presentations and providing feedback, as well as assignment marking (posters, abstracts, research proposal, lay summary). This is a great opportunity to build your teaching dossier.

The course runs from September to April (~30h/year, typically 2h every two weeks, on Friday 3-5pm).

Anyone interested, please contact Steve Kalloger at or Helene Cote at as soon as possible.

We need volunteers

We are currently looking for Academic and Clinical Faculty Members who are interested in Co-chairing the 2023 PathDay. Faculty who are interested in these roles should contact Genevieve MacMillan .
